The Alexander Home Greek Salt Mill is a unique piece of European tradition that is functionally the best in the world and handmade to exacting standards. Based on a coffee mill that was used by Greek soldiers in the early 20th century, the mill design includes a flanged base for stability and a durable all-metal body. Built as a pair with the pepper mill, the salt mill has a plastic grinding mechanism, as salt corrodes metal. Available in copper and brass. Assembly Instructions: The handle is stored inside the mill body during shipment. Please unscrew the nut at the top of the mill to remove the lid, take out the handle, replace the lid, place the handle on top, and screw the nut down tight.

• IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT ASSEMBLY: The crank handle is stored inside the mill during shipping. To assemble, unscrew the top nut and remove the cap to access the handle. Then, reattach the cap, fit the handle onto the shaft, and tighten the nut securely.
